Painting of Rozalind

"Roz" was painted by British Columbia visual artist Stephen Dobson. 12x16 oil canvas.

Stephen painted it from a photo he took at a show I performed at The Railway Club in Vancouver.

Mountain Pics - Cascade Ampitheatre

These were some mountain goats licking the salt off of the highway as we approached Mount Norquay. We were headed for the Cascade Ampitheatre. It was such a beautiful sunny day and the snow was so deep! What a great hike.
The view at the ampitheatre.
Uel and Joe having a smoke and admiring the view...
This is heaven!

Mountain Pics - Chinaman's Peak

This is the spectacular view going up Chinaman's Peak. What a magical place, although I was scared out of my wits! I went with my mountaineer friend Uel. We didn't make it to the top as I was moving a little slow and the sun would be going down in the next few hours...
Taking a break...

This pic shows the steepness of this part...
Taking another break to catch my breath and admire the view...
On we go...
This isn't what I expected! This is scary!
Roz's famous bumslide, making it easier to go down in a hurry. I threw out my pants after that one, from all the holes in the butt!

Saying Hello From Mission BC

Hi Friends,

Today is the first day I am able to check my email on my own laptop. It's been a very busy time being on the road, the story of my life! I am now safe and sound in Mission BC, at my aunt Marion's place. It's heaven here: two horses, two awesome dogs, an outdoor hot tub, a provincial park with a lake and waterfall next to their property and lots of beautiful fresh air.

Melwood and my tour went awesome. I met so many amazing people and drove through a lot of gorgeous spots in Alberta and British Columbia. Some fave spots: Field, Slocan, Enderby and Victoria. I loved every place we played at but those were some of my most memorable places to perform. So many great memories and lots of great photos coming soon!

I'll be writing again soon...

On The Road and a Recent Article

Hey Friends,

I have a few minutes to send an update before heading out to Canmore for our show tonight at The Drake. What a fantastic time Melwood and I are having on the road! Lots of pics and stories to share as soon as we get settled somewhere for more than a few minutes. It's been a blast. I LOVE life on the road!!!

Here's a recent article that was written about me in Banff's Crag & Canyon:
