"Hop the Fence" - Fri Sept 9 @ 5pm - Ottawa's CHUO 89.1 FM

I'll be interviewed tomorrow on "Hop the Fence," Ottawa's CHUO 89.1 FM - Fri Sept 9 @ 5pm

Check out what they wrote about me for their show...

Classically trained Ottawa flutist, Rozalind MacPhail, is a music teacher by day. But after school, Rozalind likes to get down with some of Canada’s best indie bands. This year she has booked over 40 artists from different fields (music, visual, lit …) to appear at the first annual Ear to the Ground Festival taking place in Toronto next weekend. That is quite a feat. The festival includes lots of other great bands (DFA 1979, Most Serene Republic, Kid Koala, Sleater-Kinney to name but a few). Here in Ottawa, we are getting our very own preview of the show this Wednesday (September 14) at Babylon, with As The Poets Affirm, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ana Miura, The Flaps, Lindsay Ferguson and more. Rozalind is “Hopping the Fence” with us today to tell us all about it.

Let me know what you think!

Love Rozalind
